Lenovo advertises the Tab M10 Plus Gen 3 as being compatible with the Precision Pen 2 stylus, but the spec sheet also mentions the Lenovo Active Pen 3. Since neither of them is included with our review sample, we are unable to check the stylus input performance of the budget Lenovo Tab. The Lenovo Tab M10 HD runs on the Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22T, an extremely limited 12 nm chip aimed at affordable devices.

In addition, the Tab M10 Plus Gen 3 is quick to release opened apps from its RAM, although it's actually sufficient at 4 GB.It’s quite compact for a full-sized tablet (in the old sense of the word), with dimensions of just 241.

Controls are fairly smooth regardless of whether you are using the touchscreen (for example in endless runners) or the motion sensor. The Tab M10 Plus Gen 3 manages a very long runtime of over 15 hours in our Wi-Fi test with an adjusted display brightness of 150 cd/m². In contrast to the Tab P11 series, Lenovo doesn't provide its Tab M10 Plus Gen 3 with an official IP certification. The highly reflective surface and low brightness make content on the screen very difficult to read in this kind of situation. Fortunately we don’t really need to do too much detective work to find specs, as they’re shown in the Google Play Console listing.Where it one-ups most of the Android competition is by putting its front-facing camera in the correct place: on one of the long sides of the screen. But not only does the presentation of content "suffer" from the low refresh rate, but also the typing and drawing experience. Unfortunately, we can't provide accurate fps rates for the Tab M10 Plus Gen 3 because of problems with the GameBench app when testing the gaming performance. The M10 performed rather well: sure, the device produced some minor deviations and showed us supposedly riding through front gardens and houses, but the M10 is completely usable if you don't need the navigation to be extremely exact.

The allure of a tablet is that its massive 7700mAh battery and typical lack of cellular support means passive drain is low, making it the type of device you can confidently grab from a drawer or the coffee table in a pinch, knowing there’s a good chance there’s enough juice left to check the news or watch a quick YouTube video when you realize you left your phone in your coat pocket. The 5,100 mAh battery in the Lenovo tablet isn't exactly massive for a 10-inch device, meaning compromises had to be made in the stamina department. Depending on the model variant, Lenovo equips it with 3 to 6 GB of RAM and 32 to 128 GB of flash storage, which can be expanded by up to 1 TB via a microSD memory card. But we did find a rather severe blue tint when analysing the panel using a spectrophotometer and the CalMAN software.storage found in our review sample offers a solid speed considering its storage technology, but it still feels very slow by today's standards. However, there are some deviations from the route selected and the Garmin smartwatch in our course profile. Content isn't really legible in direct sunlight - the panel reaches its limits here even without reflections. test clearly shows that the frame rate hardly drops, even after 30 runs, which means that performance drops under load are unlikely. In the box, you'll find a 10-watt charger, a USB cable and a tool for opening the microSD and SIM slot.

Lenovo, as you can likely tell from the naming scheme here, didn’t quietly dip out of the Android tablet space, pushing out frequent revisions and iterations over the years.

However, the 2D method, which only works with the front-facing camera, makes facial recognition quite insecure. The lender had no influence on this review, nor did the manufacturer receive a copy of this review before publication. From a side view, exposing its various ports, the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen looks premium, with the stone-textured strip along its top giving it a real air of class.
