Description

The Makita DHP486Z 18V LXT Brushless Hammer Driver Drill provides 130Nm of maximum fastening torque and no load speed of 2,100rpm combining rapid drilling speeds with high levels of torque. This model is based on the DHP481, but has been redesigned with a newly designed motor and gear ratio achieving not only more power but also increasing the performance in continuous heavy-duty applications. Not only has the performance on the DHP481 been increased but it is also considerably shorter. At 178mm in length this model is 27mm shorter than the DHP481. Making it the most compact drill in its class and extremely comfortable to use in all applications. Torque setting ring - wider torque range of 1-10Nm in clutch mode allows for versatile applications There are twin LED job lights with afterglow once the variable speed trigger is released and a new side handle configuration gives light tool control. Coupled with the soft grip ergonomic handle design positive drill-driver capability is assured. It weighs just 2.7kg, and is more compact (20mm shorter) than the previous BHP458 model. Batteries and charger sold separately. MAKITA DHP481Z FEATURES The electronically-controlled BL™ Brushless Motor efficiently uses energy to match torque and RPM to the changing demands of the application

Brushless BLDC motor specially designed to provide, above all, more work amount on a single full battery charge This Makita HP457DWE10 combi drill kit is a rewarding investment for any DIY enthusiast. This high-performance combi drill uses Makita G-Series batteries, providing you with long-lasting performance and exceptional drilling and driving power. When fully charged, this 18-volt combi drill can deliver up to 1,400 rotations per minute. This makes it suitable for drilling into masonry, wood and steel. The all-metal construction and mechanical speed gears mean you can always expect smooth and speedy drilling results. The low speed settings are also ideal for those situations where you need sustained power at high torque settings. All metal variable 2-speed transmission (0-550 & 0-2,100 RPM) for a wide range of drilling, fastening and hammer drilling applications Speed Mechanical Gearing – high speed mode produces 2,100rpm for rapid drilling speed while low speed produces high levels of torque to suit high load operation. Ergonomic design: This hammer drill has the best possible ergonomic handle for drill-driver applications. Despite the impressive 115Nm of torque, the vibration K factor is just 1.5m/sec², this makes it much easier to use for long lengths of time without any hand pain.
