This is because (if you were not already aware) it is very common for electric toothbrushes, particularly Oral-B models, to sell at around 50% less than retail price. You can normally see it out of the corner of your eye, but it’s easier to spot if you brush in front of a mirror. The Pro 3 3000 has 3 cleaning modes (Daily Clean, Sensitive & Whitening) compared to the 2 modes (Daily Clean & Sensitive) of the Pro 2 2000. If you have ever looked at the prices of electric brushes before, you might have realised that the actual selling prices tend to be quite a bit cheaper. In the very near future we will have a guide that explains this all in detail. However, here is the short answer for now.

You have to be really committed and if you are there are better smart toothbrushes in our opinion. Reply Supplied with a charging stand, when the battery needs replenishing, simply set the brush on the stand. Hi Thomas. To my knowledge, both models offer up to 9,900 oscillations and 45,000 pulsations. Reply Bought this brush (Pro 2 2000N) in June 2018 and have used it for approximately 3 minutes a day. At he beginning, it gave more than a week of brushing. Then I needed to recharge every other day, lately every day.The grip on the rear of the handle comes in the form of lots of dimples compared to the ridges on the 2500. I’ve just replaced my old Oral B brush with this new Pro 2 2500, and my initial reaction is a very positive ‘yes’! Between these 2 models there are no differences (that I am aware of) in the number of brush head movements and pulsations offered. The Pro 3 3500 isn’t any better at cleaning the teeth than the Pro 2 2500. What differs is the design and features each offers. Reply The Pro 2 2500 was previously our top choice. However, the 2500 has now been discontinued and the 3500 is the recommended alternative. I like the slim and grippy handle. The 2 week battery life is satisfactory and, most importantly, it does a good job of cleaning your teeth.

The Pro 3 3900 benefits from an extra cleaning mode and a larger visible pressure sensor on each brush handle. It does also have a more minimal design. Design aside, they do the same job. When the sensor is activated they both light up red to alert you that you are brushing too hard. Reduce the pressure and the lights go out.

Thanks for Sharing your opinions Richard. There are a few brushes that still use NiMH, but certainly a much more limited choice. Reply Mine would not work in the morning after being charged the day before. A split second on charger and away it went until the next time it got charged. I had 4 in a row the same, now I just put up with it. Reply
