Description

What i must say though is that a few scenes where more or less kind of out of nowhere like the one with Julia suddenly confessing that she tried to protect Sofia all this time and i don‘t know, it was just kind of weird. Leon was also weird as hell just like Winter was. And he does completely upend her life in the course of just nine days. There are emotional stakes as people attempt to restore broken relationships, make atonement for wrongdoing, and reconnect with lost loves. After thirteen years apart, childhood sweethearts meet again. Soon Aaron finds out that Sofia needs someone to spend the holidays with. Naturally, Aaron is her guy; making yet another promise to her. While the storyline is good and the anticipation of where it will go is certainly what keeps you hanging in & reading on, but the let-down is that this book is in serious need of editing.

You just know so much love and effort was put into this book and I have so much respect for new writers creating something unique. It sure is not perfect but you can see the talent (and I guess with an editor this would reach its full potential). The writing is for sure Impressive for not beeing in the first language of the author (if not for some references I probably wouldn’t have noticed. Greetings to the fellow german:D) Joelina Falk is well-known for her evocative, contemporary romances featuring strong, witty heroines. While the rest of her family and friends try to make their lives look like stories, she writes her own. When she’s not reading or looking at her computer, she’s either rewatching old episodes of her favourite shows or telling her mother about her novel ideas despite her mother’s best efforts to ignore her. Synopsis of the book: Nine Days other than all of that, almost all the characters were vanilla and boring and done before. i almost dnf’d, but I’ve dnf’d three books in my life, and i tried not to give up on this one. Sofia Carlsen has been living the majority of her life running away from her past. Unfortunately that also meant running away from her childhood best friends.

I thought so too. Thought maybe...just maybe, this might be a 5⭐ read if it just gets a little bit deeper, digs deeper into Lily and Colin. The book has everything you want, new each other from early age, I’m obsessed with her, best friends brother. Like it was so cute but this girl can also write some spice. I love the spice scenes, they are detailed so really hot but their not a lot of scenes in the book which I love because now it felt just right and it didn’t feel unnecessary. It fit with the timeline Ugh I’m in love with the way joelina writes. I’m obsessed with her books and I’m so happy I got an arc for book 3. It was also nice to get a more in depth view of their future and even with their kids, that was truly adorable.

See a Problem?

So many times did I almost give up and hit the return option since there are many errors littered throughout. In general, i just loved their soulmate connection they had towards one another, you could really feel it or at least i did lol How Lily describes depression, how her mood varies from semingly okay to just wanting to die in the span of a few sentences in her journal is so accurate. I am happy it shows how bad depression can get without a "reason", because I think that it is so rarely shown but so common.
