One of the most amazing painters of 20th century was Hans Rudolph Giger, who had a tremendous influence on computer game developers, he is also worshipped by fantasy lovers. The Against the Odds 1974 – 1982 collection will contain three dozen previously unreleased recordings. Stein chronicled the band’s early beginnings on camera, from the nascent New York punk scene to the international celebrities they worked with, including Andy Warhol. It’s all there on film: Warhol, Debbie Harry, the cast, the city – and its his documentary of the Big Apple throughout the 70s and 80s that remains just as looming a character in his photographic archive.

I also had a magazine with a very evocative picture of a snowy street, and I looked at it all the time. Science fiction and ancient Egyptian cultures are extremely important for me, and I follow eastern spiritual and health practices, including acupuncture, so I’m geeking out hugging the book to my face. R. Giger, who had worked in the design department for Ridley Scott’s 1979 film Alien was chosen to work on the promotional material for Harry’s debut solo record, including the covert art and the music videos for the album tracks, ‘Backfired’ and ‘Now I Know You Know’.Afterward, he worked with harder-edged bands, including Celtic Frost, Carcass, Danzig, and Triptykon. Like the rest of the world since, Stein was taken with Harry’s charisma, her spirit and – of course – her style. A beautiful coffee table signed limited edition art book chronicling the extraordinary collaboration between Debbie Harry and H. She has become and still remains a true national treasure, one whose influence continues to impact the worlds of music, fashion and art.

R. Giger, acclaimed for his designs for Ridley Scott’s movie Alien in 1979, had superimposed needles on a portrait of Debbie’s face taken by photographer Brian Aris. The band released its eponymous debut album in 1976, and released a further three albums between then and 1979, including Parallel Lines, which spawned six singles, including "Heart of Glass". More recently, in October of 2019, Debbie became a best selling author with the release of her memoir, FACE IT. But that leaves us with the music, which one has to admit, is completely unsuited for this design.
