It’s not half as dramatic as it looks in the pan, and would suit a myriad of skintones and make-up looks. I have been loving this blush all summer, but looking at this dusky rose shade, it really is perfect to carry in to autumn, or any time of year, really. I like to build the highlighter and blusher up gradually by using a soft fluffy, highlighting buffing brush. Katie and Ambition are both matte shades, but Ambition has got some glitter in it, and i do like the variation. Beyond Liquid can be blended into your moisturiser, p rimer or f oundation for a subtle spa like base, or used alongside the Beyond Powder Highlighter to go from subtle to strobe.

It can be applied heavily for a dark, pigmented lip, or can be patted on and built up to create a sexy ‘just bitten’ look, which makeup artist Alex Box adores. I've tried a lot of blushes and they've always been too pink/red/orange and very unblendable, or too sheer and shimmery. When swatched stark, they look very different in colour and Katie looks much paler and slightly chalkier. I’d always heard good things about this blush, but didn’t really get into the whole berry blush thing for a long time.
