These are juniper, dried meadowsweet, coriander, cassia, black pepper, vanilla, fresh lingonberry and fresh lemon zest. Using the same organic botanicals as the Herno Dry Gin, Herno have dialled up the amount of meadowsweet used and once distilled, they have added a touch of honey and sugar, giving it the delicious sweet element you look for in a traditional Old Tom Gin. They use the same botanical selection as their Hernö Dry Gin for this, although they’ve dialled up the amount of meadowsweet used. Herno Old Tom Gin is made from the same distilled gin as Herno Gin and Herno Navy Strength Gin except Herno Old Tom Gin has an extra amount of Meadowsweet in the distillation and after diluting it down to 43%, a touch of honey is added for sweetness.
