I presume its only my batch or theres something wrong with my nose but the scent is so faint, when i spray it only smells alcohol and then it slowly dissappears into the void and after 3 minutes i cant smell it at all. Reading some reviews I got to the conclusion that you really gotta watch the batch codes with this one. When I first purchased this fragrance about a year ago I didn't pick up as much on the coffee note as I do now. Upon initial spray you are welcomed by a wonderfully unique scent that honestly to me has zero notes of coffee but heavily of tonka bean a sweetness of perhaps vanilla and warm spices. Yet to me it comes sweeter than eros EDT which is already quite sweet for my liking and the coffee that I was expected to balance it out and make it more mature here seems mellow and just complimentary to overall sweetness of the fragrance, like a shadow. Smoke and "Spicy" is the furthest reach here, you'd really be convincing yourself of that and no one else would think that.A small tip if you can't: when you smell it, take a deep whiff and by the end of your whiff you will clearly smell the roasted coffee.
