Description

It's a complecated and expensive process to have them made, and doing all that from scratch for a 3x12" just for a collectors re-release probably isn't feasible enough, at least in the specific case of this album.

com (also known as Esprit) has been the world's biggest and best seller of premium quality and top condition rare and vintage vinyl records, rare CD's and music memorabilia since 1985 - that's 39 years! The reason that they don't do a 1:1 reissue of the 3x12" now (or in the decades after it's initial release), is that those vinyl manufacturing tools usually do not survive many years (the metal starts to corrode). Get ready to make HIStory with the first-ever picture disc edition of the tracks originally released as part of Book II of Michael Jackson’s 1995 album, released in honor of Michael Jackson: The Diamond Celebration!

We take intellectual property concerns very seriously, but many of these problems can be resolved directly by the parties involved. The Original Material Makes Up One Of The Very Best Pop Albums Of The 1990's, Possibly MJ's Magnum Opus Since He Really Puts So Much Of His Heart And Soul Into These Songs And The Production Is Very Well Done, Especially On The More Orchestral Songs And The Tracks That Had Jimmy Jam And Terry Lewis Producing Them. But at the time "Book 1" can't have been anything more than a bold, ambitious but empty statement, that fitted the whole post-1993 "here I still stand" concept of the HIStory album presentation. The only background noise that I experienced was on LP3 due to some light pressure wear as a result of being squished underneath the book and other two LPs for a couple decades. Got this original '95 PROMO set, it's very quiet and clean, no pops, no crackle, and it sounds good overall, not the best I would expect, vocals and all music sound a bit set back in the new stuff, and generally well mastered for the best of portion.

One being that the book should have been packed underneath the records rather than on top of them, and two, it would have been much nicer to have jackets for the LPs or at least thicker style inner sleeves rather than the paper thin inner sleeves that they each came in. However fastforward another 4 years and that number has reduced even further as more and more people traded their vinyl set ups for CD hifis. I know someone referenced CDs being the main format at the time but I would imagine the same would be true for Dangerous however, that vinyl seems to be much easier to find.
